Lithium Fluoride(LiF)Plano-Concave Lenses
Lithium fluoride (LiF) crystal is also one of the common infrared materials, it has the smallest refractive index in the infrared materials, its transmission spectrum range is 120nm-7000nm, usually used in thermal imaging systems, aerospace optical systems and laser optical systems.
Lithium fluoride (LiF) plano-concave lens is composed of a flat surface and a concave spherical surface, which can produce negative spherical aberration and is often used in systems where the light is expanded or the focal length is increased to balance the deviation of other lenses and is often used for ultraviolet and infrared optical applications.
Our company can provide Lithium fluoride (LiF) plano concave lens with diameters from 2-300mm.and thicknesses from 0.12-60mm (accuracy up to 20-10, 1/10L@633nm),coating AR, BBAR, AF or upon request.

Transmission curve
Lithium fluoride crystals have a wide transmission band (110 to 6,600 nm) and a high transmittance, especially in the vacuum UV band, which is the highest among known materials. Therefore, it is used as an optical material in the ultraviolet band. Lithium fluoride plano-concave lenses are popular in many UV and IR applications.
