Fused Silica(UVFS) Plano-Convex Lenses
Fused silica is the amorphous (glassy) state of silicon oxide (quartz, silica). It is a typical glass with a long-range disordered atomic structure. It provides its high service temperature and low coefficient of thermal expansion by cross-linking its three-dimensional structure
Fused silica plano convex lens is convex on one side and flat on the other and has a positive focal length, it been widely applied for laser systems and infrared systems.
Nova can provide fused silica plano-convex Lenses with diameters from 2-300mm and thicknesses from 0.12-60mm (accuracy up to 20-10, 1/10L@633nm),coating AR, BBAR, AF or upon request.
